William Earl Stinson

Mr. William Earl "Bill" Stinson, age 82, of Franklin, KY passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 4:30 AM at the Magnolia Village in Bowling Green, KY.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, February 7, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory.  No services will be held.  Mr. Stinson's wishes were to be cremated.

Bill was born on August 9, 1939 in Sumner County, TN to the late Robert Stinson and the late Lattie Mae (Johnson) Stinson.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Martha Stinson; 1 daughter, Kathy Stinson of Jacksonville, AL; 2 grandsons, William "Dusty" Williams IV and Jacob Williams; 4 great-grandchildren, Matthias Williams, Adaley Williams, Atticus Williams and Thackery Williams; 2 brothers, David Stinson and Wilburn Stinson both of Indianapolis, IN.

Bill was a veteran of the US Marine Corp.  He was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Simpson County, KY.  Bill was a retired electrician at Potter & Brumfield.  He enjoyed to go fishing and going to the shooting range.
