Mr. William Daniel “Dan” Spears, age 53 of Franklin, KY., died Thursday, November 26, 2015 from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident in Simpson County, KY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 30, 2015 with entombment to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY. with military honors by the Simpson County Honor Guard.
Born March 17, 1962 in Indianapolis, IN. he was the son of the late James Spears and Faye Burgett Lawson who survives of Franklin, KY. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers Jerry and Jeffrey Stuart, grandmother Vallie Shoulders and grandfather W.E. Burgett.
He is survived by his wife Erin Spears, 3 children William Justin Spears of Franklin, KY., Lindsey Michelle Spears of Denver, CO. and Elizabeth Carol Scott Spears of Franklin, KY., 1 sister Debbie Goodnight(James) of Franklin, KY., brother Nelson McDaniels of Franklin, KY., 3 half sisters Donna Spears Smith of Montgomery, AL, Teresa Spears of Anchorage, AK. and Brenda Spears Goolsby-Taylor of Westmoreland, TN. a half brother Terry Spears of Jacks Beach, FL.
Mr. Spears was owner of ACT Transportation Company and SAM Holdings Properties.
Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 9:00 P.M. Sunday, November 29, 2015 and from 6:00 AM until funeral service time on Monday.
