Mr. William C. “Bill” Rosdeutscher age 77, of Franklin, Ky., entered into rest Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Alive Hospice at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tn.
A native of Mitchelville, TN. he was the son of the late Will H. Rosdeutscher and the late Minnie Bell Henderson Rosdeutscher. He was preceded in death by 4 sisters Frances Rosdeutscher, Bernice R. Derryberry, Betty Jean Watwood and Louise McKnight, 1 brother Robert Ray Rosdeutscher.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Nancy Partin Rosdeutscher, a son William “Bill” Ross of Ashburn, Ga., a sister Dorothy “Dot” Frances Baker of Franklin, Ky., Harold David Rosdeutscher of Bowling Green, Ky., and Larry Glenn Rosdeutscher of Suchens, Ga., 3 grandchildren David Gary Ross, James Robert Ross and Samantha Taylor Ross and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Rosdeutscher was a member of the Franklin First United Methodist Church, he served in the Navy for 20+ years serving in the Korean War, Cuban Missile Crisis and 3 tours in the Vietnam Conflict. He served on the U.S.S. Enterprise where he traveled and cooked around the world for the sailors and a kangaroo. He loved to cook for everyone and relished pleasing everyone. He worked in every church kitchen he was ever a member of .
