William Harold Jepson

March 27, 1926 — May 15, 2015

Mr. William Harold Jepson, age 89 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Friday, May 15, 2015 at 4:24 P. M. at the White House Health Care Facility in White House, TN.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home. A Funeral service will be held Monday, May 18, 2015 at 2:00 P. M. at the Sulphur Spring Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Sulphur Spring Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY.  Military honors will be conducted by the Simpson County Honor Guard.

A native of Simpson Co., KY., he was the son of the late Jesse J. Jepson and the late Nell Shannon Jepson.  He was preceded in death by his wife Frances Jepson and a brother James Jepson.

He is survived by 2 sons William Jepson (Terry) and Jesse Jepson (Connie) all of Franklin, KY., 4 grandchildren:  David Jepson, Willis Jepson (Brittany), Amy Webster (Jamie), Rebecca Moss (Brad), 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Jepson was a farmer being born and raised on the family farm of 8 generations known as the Jepson Farms.  He was a life time member of the Sulphur Spring Baptist Church serving as a deacon for many years.  He was a member of the National and Kentucky Holstein Association and the Southern States Advisory Board.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 17, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P. M. and 6:00 A. M. until 10:00 A. M. Monday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.  The body will lie in state at the church from Noon until funeral service time at Sulphur Spring Baptist Church.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Sulphur Spring Baptist Church or to the Sulphur Spring Cemetery Fund.
