Mr. Willard Johnson, age 78, of Butler County, KY, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at his residence in Alvaton, Ky.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 27 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Franklin, KY. Funeral services will be held the same day, January 27, at 2:00 pm with burial to follow at Blackjack Cemetery.

Willard was born on January 29, 1943 in Butler County, KY to the late Plina Ellen(Phelps) Johnson and the late William Elvis Johnson. He is also preceded in death by his wife of 22 years, Martha Johnson; 1 grandson Ronnie Murrell; 5 sisters; and 5 brothers.

He is survived by 2 sons William Johnson(Dawn) of Alvaton, KY; James Travis(Miranda) of Windyville, KY; 1 daughter Christy Johnson of Milwaukee, WI; 7 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

Willard attended Fairview Baptist Church. He enjoyed fixing up cars, woodworking, and riding his bicycles.
