Will D. Brown

Mr. Will D. Brown, age 86 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 5:45 AM at the Medical Center in Franklin, KY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 31, 2017 with burial to follow in the McKendree Chapel Church Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY. with military honors by the Simpson County Honor Guard.
A native of Wilson Co., TN., he was the son of the late Willie Brown and the late Mary Brown. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters Ruth Brown and Myrtle Rake and 2 brothers John Lee Brown and James Brown.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years Eleanor Brown, a brother Jerry Brown of Lebanon, TN., a niece Janis Hernandez of Helena, Montana and a nephew Stan Duke of Lavergne, TN.
Mr. Brown was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and U.A.W. Ford Motor Co. He retired from Ford Motor Company in Nashville after 32 years and was a Korean War Army Veteran.
Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, January 30, 2017 and from 6:00 AM until service time on Tuesday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
