Wanda Jean West

Mrs. Wanda West, age 67, of Franklin, KY, passed away Saturday, May 30th, 2020 at 12:29 PM at The Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home.  Public visitation will be Monday, June 1st, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Tuesday, June 2nd, 2020 6:00 AM until funeral service time at 2:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home.  Funeral services for family and close friends will be Tuesday, June 2nd, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

Wanda was born on July 16th, 1952 in Simpson County, KY to the late Luther Gant and to the late Helen Louise Bush Gant.  Wanda is preceded in death by her husband of 11 years, David West.

She is survived by 2 children, Melissa Byard (Sam) of Franklin, KY and Chris West (Jessica) of Franklin, KY; 3 grandchildren, Gavin Byard, Eli West and Millie West; 1 sister, Beth Davenport of Franklin, KY and 1 brother, Donny Gant of Franklin, KY.

Wanda was retired from Berry Plastics where she worked for over 40 years.  She loved being a grandmother to her 3 grandchildren and loved everything about the beach.
