Virginia Booker Pierce

Mrs. Virginia Booker Pierce age 95, of Franklin, Ky. formerly of Jacksonville, FL. of 64 years entered into rest Monday, October 19, 2009 at the Medical Center in Franklin, Ky.
A native of Portland , TN., she was the daughter of the late Maynard Booker and Estell Seagraves Booker. She was the wife of the late Phillips Stanley “Stan” Gillespie and the late Harry A. Pierce. She was preceded in death by a son William Booker Gillespie, step-son Charles Pierce, 2 brothers Maynard Booker, Jr. and Edward Booker.
She is survived by a son Tom E. Gillespie and wife Elizabeth J. of Franklin , Ky. 6 Grandchildren Kimberly D. Clarke, Stephanie T. Stormier, Richard E. Gillespie, Marshall T. Gillespie, Karen R. Gooding and Kelly A. Shirley.
Mrs. Gillespie was a member of the Deermeadows Baptist Church, a member of the Garden Club, Southside Women’s Club and San Jose Country Club all in Jacksonville, FL.
