Vanessa Williams

Ms. Vanessa Williams, age 59, of Franklin, KY passed away on Sunday, December 12th, 2021 at the St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 17th at 1:00 PM Elevated Missionary Baptist Church, 307 Bell Street, Franklin, KY 42134.

Ms. Williams was born on December 31, 1961 in Franklin, KY to the late Ardell Payne and the late Karen Payne. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Shakanta Johnson.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Curtis Payne of Franklin, KY and Lee Williams (Samantha) of Franklin, KY; 6 grandchildren, Kimberley Spivey, Connor Roberts, Jordan Roberts, Devan Payne, Samuel Williams, Leasiah Williams all of Franklin, KY; siblings, Charles Payne of Franklin, KY, Rodney Hogan of Bowling Green, KY, Sharron Payne of Franklin, KY, Veronica Payne of Franklin, KY, and Lakendra Johnson of Russellville, KY; a special niece, Tamika Holcomb of Franklin, KY and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Vanessa was a member of the Elevated Missionary Baptist Church of Franklin, KY. She was a 1979 graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School and worked at Outokumpu for 10+ years.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching TikTok videos.
