Mr. Travis Cline, age 75 of Franklin, KY. entered into rest Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 8:40 AM at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, Ky..
Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 8, 2017 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY with military honors by the Simpson County Honor Guard.
Born in Woodburn KY. on November 26, 1941, he was the son of the late Paul Appline Cline and the late Elsie Louise Lloyd Cline. He was the husband of the late Shelby Jean Cline. 2 brothers Goebel and Jimmy Cline and 2 sisters Thelma Mercer and Joyce Dean LaLone preceded him in death.
He is survived by his daughter Lisa Deavers (Brad) of Franklin, KY., step-son Doug Bowling (Sue) of Franklin, KY., 2 sisters Nancy Hibbard (Scy) of Scottsville, KY. and Pat Grenier (John Wyckoff) of Cameron, MO., 2 grandchildren Douglas Bowling and Tami Montgomery, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchildren.
Mr. Cline was retired from Potter & Brumfield and Tyco and was a Vietnam Air Force Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 62 and VFW Post #5706
Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM Wednesday, June 7, 2017 and from 6:00 AM until funeral service time Thursday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
