Tommy T. Phillips

Mr. Tommy T. Phillips, age 86 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 10:18 AM at the Medical Center in Franklin, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 12, 2015 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

A native of Simpson County, KY., he was the son of the late Luther J. Phillips and the late Pearl Tucker Phillips.  He was the husband of the late Jo Anne Phillips and preceded in death by a son John Powell Phillips.

He is survived by his daughter-in-law Gina Phillips of Franklin, Ky., 2 grandchildren Delsie Katherine Phillips and Sophia Jane-Marie Phillips, a brother Charles Phillips (Pat) of New Orleans, LA, sister and brother-in-law Kay and Pete Cook of Jasper, GA., 2 nieces and 2 nephews and several cousins.

Mr. Phillips was a member of the First United Methodist Church, former Simpson County 4H member, former member of the National Guard, and served on the board for the Lewis Memorial Home.  He was a retired farmer.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, September 11, 2015 and from 6:00 AM until funeral service time on Saturday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Lewis Memorial Home or to the First United Methodist Church.
