Thomas R. Norwood

Mr. Thomas R. Norwood, age 78 of Franklin, Ky., entered into rest Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 5:30 A. M. at the Hospice Center in Bowling Green, Ky.
A native of Simpson Co., Ky., he was the son of the late Richard Norwood and the late Bessie L. Roberts Norwood. He was preceded in death by a sister Dorothy Jean Norwood King.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Phillips Norwood, daughter Faye Jackson (Eddie) of Franklin, Ky, a son Phil Norwood (Linda) of Franklin, KY., a brother Donald Norwood of Franklin, KY., 3 grandchildren Scott and Daniel Norwood and Tyler Jackson, 2 Great Grandchildren Matthew and Courtney Ann Norwood.
Mr. Norwood was a member of the Franklin Church of Christ, where he served as deacon and was the service coordinator, he was active with all youth sports acitivities, an avid outdoorsman, and officiated high school football, basketball and baseball.
