Theophilus Isadore Hayes

 Mr. Theophilus Isadore Hayes, age 79, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025 at 2:00 AM at Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY.

Cremation was chosen with no services.

Theophilus was born on August 4, 1945 in Nashville, TN to the late James Hayes and the late Johnnie Mae Cohn Hayes. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie Rachel Rose Hayes, a brother Ronnie Hayes and a sister Gwendloyn Hayes.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mary Brown, 2 daughters, Chiffon Hayes and Brittany Hayes both of Franklin, KY; 3 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Theophilus was a Baptist. He was a tile setter and worked in the school system as a janitor at West Wilson Middle School and Friendship Christian School. He also worked for Shoney’s on Demonbreun Street in Nashville, Spence Splanda, Gary Sharp and Georgia Electric.

Theophilus loved to sing, dance, cook and talk with people. He was well liked by everyone and carried on a lot of stuff with everyone. He will be missed.
