Mr. Theodore Joseph "Ted" Stevenson, age 71 of Franklin, KY, entered into rest Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 11:40 a.m. at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY after a courageous battle with throat cancer.
A native of Pontiac, Michigan, Ted was born July 23, 1942 to the late Otto Theodore Stevenson and the late Violet Janetta Rye Stevenson. He is survived by his wife Carylene Macklem Stevenson; 4 children - Lori Stevenson of Newark, OH, Jan Stevenson-Laurent (James) of Adairville, KY, Ted Stevenson (Lori) of Ashland City, TN, and Suzi Fuller (Thame) of Lynnwood, WA; 8 grandchildren - Amanda and Emily Wolff, Caleb and Kaleigh Laurent, Joe Stevenson, Rebecca, Ryan and Nicole Fuller; and, a brother - Lyle James (Marlane) Stevenson of Warrington, PA.
Mr. Stevenson was a member of the Adairville United Methodist Church and was semi-retired from sales and entertainment. He was known by many for his love of horses, singing and playing guitar, mentoring the young and young at heart, watching all sports, and making friends with everyone he met.
