A native of Simpson Co., KY., He is survived by his mother Wanda Ladd Readnower and her husband David of Franklin, KY. and his father Larry Mallard and his wife Wanda of Franklin, KY., a sister Rhonda Jones of Franklin, KY. 4 step brothers: Clifford King of Morgantown, KY, Chris King of Franklin, KY, Troy King of Franklin, KY, and Lee Wayne Readnower of Harrodsburg, KY. 3 step sisters: Tonya Price of Morgantown, KY, Tracie Scruggs of Franklin, KY, and Michelle Russell of Burgin, KY. 2 neices: Martina Jones, Drue Collins, and 1 nephew Trenton Jones and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mr. Mallard was a Baptist and was employed as a teller at Kentucky Downs and a graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School.
