Terry Layne Farmer

Mr. Terry Layne Farmer, age 66, of Franklin, KY, passed away Friday, November 6th, 2020 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home, Franklin, KY.  Visitation will be Sunday, November 8th, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home.  There will be no service.

Terry was born on February 10th, 1954 in Pikeville, KY to the late George Washington Farmer and the late Augustine Caudill Farmer.  He is also preceded in death by a brother, Nicky Farmer.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Peggy Ann Farmer; a son, James Terry Farmer of Franklin, KY; 2 brothers, Philmore Farmer of Dayton, OH and Danny Farmer of Pikeville, KY and 3 sisters, Glenda Tackett of Pikeville, KY, Phyllis Ann Sowards of Pikeville, KY and Denita “Dee Dee” Petrie of OH.

Terry worked at Franklin Precision Industries before retirement.  He loved to cook, gardening and watching UK basketball.
