Sue (Harris) McLemore

Mrs. Sue McLemore, age 96, Bowling Green, KY, formerly of Franklin, KY, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 7:25 PM at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 5, 2020 with burial to follow in the Mt. Vernon Church Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday, February 4, 2020 and from 6:00 AM until service time on Wednesday at Gilbert Funeral Home.

Sue was born August 1, 1923 to the late Roy Lee Harris and the late Josie Reeder Harris.  She was preceded in death by a son James Harris “Jimmy” McLemore.

She is survived by a son, Robert Edward McLemore (Sandee) of Huber Heights, OH, 3 grandchildren, James Lee McLemore (Lisa), Shea Johnson Peay (John) and Joshua Brant McLemore, 2 great grandchildren, Jonathan and Abigail Peay.

Sue was a member of the Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church and the A.A.R.P.  She was retired from Drackett Company and was a homemaker.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Mt. Vernon Church or to the Mt. Vernon Church Cemetery.
