Shirley Ann Watwood Turner

Mrs. Shirley Ann Watwood Turner, age 73, of Franklin, Ky., entered into rest Thursday, April 8, 2010 in Bowling Green, KY.

A native of Simpson Co., Ky. she was the daughter of the late Chester Ray Watwood and the late Bessie Clyde Finn Watwood. She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Donald Turner, 3 daughters; Kristy Denice, Jill Annette, and Julie Elise Turner, a sister Betty Jean Rogers and a brother Ray Watood.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Karen Turner Porter and her husband Joseph Michael of Rockfield, KY. and Amy Turner Kepley and husband Ricky of Franklin, KY., a son Bobby Donald Turner Jr. and wife Jeanelle of Bowling Green, KY.; 2 brothers; Donald Bruce Watwood of Sacramento, CA. and Daryl Lynn Watwood of Franklin, KY.; 6 Grandchildren: Derrick Kepley, Kyle Kepley, Kameron Kepley, Kolten Kepley, Kendrick Kepley, Joanna Porter and a step-grandaughter Madalyn Taylor; 2 great grandchildren Hanna Kepley and Derrin Kepley; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Turner was a member of the Bethel Church of Christ, a former employee of Simpson County Bank and a retired instructional assistant with the Simpson County School system. She was an avid antique lover.
