Shirley Ann (Kendall) Johnson

Mrs. Shirley Johnson, age 76, of Oakland, KY, passed away on Wednesday, September 22nd, 2021 at 8:53 AM at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 24th, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, September 25th, from 6 AM until funeral service time at Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 25, at 2:00 PM with burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

Shirley was born on June 1st, 1945 in Simpson County, KY to the late Robert Kendall and the late Mary Smalding (Kendall). She is also preceded in death by a granddaughter and five brothers.

She is survived by her husband, of 48 years Jimmy Johnson; 4 children, John Roberts (Debbie) of Scottsville, KY, David Roberts (Donna) of Scottsville, KY; Barry Roberts of Oakland, KY, and Angela Johnson (Roy Pittman) of Smiths Grove, KY; grandchildren, Eric Roberts, Matthew Roberts, Tommy, Travis, Roy, Cheyanna, Kaylie Roberts, Stephanie Rigsby, Brandy Johnson, Mandy Ezell; brother, Willard Kendall of Hendersonville, TN; and sister, Mary Moseley of Russellville, KY.

Shirley was seamstress for Johnson Control before retirement. She loved playing with her grandchildren and enjoying coffee on her front porch.
