Sarah Lynn (Pirtle) Rust

Ms. Sarah Lynn Rust, age 64, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 10:31 PM at The Medical Center of Franklin, KY.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.  No visitation is scheduled.

Sarah was born on April 30, 1958 in Franklin, KY to the late, Robert Pirtle and Margaret (Bogle) Gettings (Jimmy), whom survives.  She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Tasha Rust; brother, Wayne Pirtle; and a sister, Ellen Pirtle.

She is also survived by a son, Joshua Rust of Franklin, KY; companion, Jackie Minnicks of Franklin, KY; 3 grandchildren, Lillian Rust, Colin Rust and Sarah Belle Rust; a great-grandson, Noah Groves; 2 nieces, Margaret Roberts (James) and Amy Neeley (Dustin); and a nephew, Anthony Pirtle.

Sarah was a member of Liberty Church in Auburn, KY.  She was retired from Berry Plastics.  Sarah loved to read, watch TV and was a professional sleeper.
