Sarah Frances Cline

Mrs. Sarah Frances Cline, age 91, of Franklin, KY, passed away Friday, March 6, 2020 at 1:31 AM at The Medical Center of Bowling Green, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where funeral services will be held on Monday, March 9th, 2020 at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 8th, 2020, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Monday, March 9th, 2020, from 6:00 AM until funeral service time at Gilbert Funeral Home.

Sarah was born April 17th, 1928 in Simpson County, KY., to the late Callihill Morgan “C.M.” Clayborne and the late Elloar Gregory Clayborne.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Cline.

She is survived by 2 sons, Jerry Cline (Jeanette) of Franklin, KY. and Mark Cline (Lisa) of Franklin, KY.; 1 sister, Betty Willoughby of Allen County, KY.; 3 grandchildren, Garrett Cline, Darrick Cline and J.B. Cline; 2 great-grandchildren, Kevin Isaac Cline and Gavin Cline.

Sarah was a member of Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church.  She was a member of the New Salem #38 Chapter of the Eastern Star.
