Sandra Barton

Ms. Sandra Barton, age 63, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Saturday, July 25th, 2020, at 4:12 AM at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home, Franklin, KY.  Visitation will begin on Monday, July 27th from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 28th from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home, Franklin, KY.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 29th at 11:00 AM at Gilbert Funeral Home, Franklin, KY with burial to follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens.

Sandra was born on October 11th, 1956 in Franklin, KY to the late Jimmy Burgett and the late Pauline Cantrell Spellman.  She is also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Brenda Rust and Teresa Cox and a brother, Timothy Boyd.

She is survived by a son, Dustin Barton (Jessica) of Franklin, KY; niece, Melinda Graves (Tommy) of Franklin, KY; nephews, Tony Boyd of Franklin, KY and Kenny Cox of White House, TN; great-niece, Roxanne Graves of Franklin, KY.

Sandra was self-employed as a caretaker, caring for many families over the years.  She was a member of El Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.  Sandra loved gardening and riding motorcycles.
