Mrs. Rose Edith Swindle, age 60 of Franklin, KY. entered into rest Friday, May 22, 2015 at 9:55 P. M. at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, May 25, 2015 at the Salmons General Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.
She was born in Sumner Co., TN. on May 29, 1954 to the late Robert Odell Griffin and the late Dorothy Harris Griffin.
Her husband Jimmy Swindle, a brother Evan Griffin of Franklin, Ky., 2 nephews, a niece and a great niece, survives her.
Mrs. Swindle was a member of the Salmons General Baptist Church and Salmons WMU. She had former worked for Walker Equipment, Franklin Insurance, Franklin Bank & Trust, Simpson County Bank and Citizens First Bank.
Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Sunday, May 24, 2015 and from 6:00 A.M. until 8:00 A.M. Monday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home. The body will lie in state at the church from 9:00 A.M. until funeral service time on Monday.
