Rose Carolyn Cassetty

Mrs. Rose Carolyn Cassetty, age 81, of Louisville, KY., formerly of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Friday, February 23, 2018 at 4:00 PM at Baptist Health in Louisville, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 27, 2018 with burial to follow in the Restlawn Memory Gardens in Simpson Co., KY.

Mrs. Cassetty was born April 27, 1936 in Logan Co., KY. to the late Cecil G. Beach Sr. and the late Minnie Brady Beach.  She was the wife of the late Clarence Joseph “CJ” Cassetty.  She was preceded in death by her son Lester Cassetty and a sister Faye Schommer and Jerry Lee Beach.

She is survived by her daughter Brenda Chumney (John) of Louisville, KY., and a daughter-in-law Neta Cassetty of Portland, TN., 6 grandchildren Tommy Chumney, Laura Bolen, Joe, Jake and Justin Cassetty, a step granddaughter Stacy Anthony, 2 great grandchildren Adriana Chumney and Alice Cassetty, a brother Cecil Beach, Jr. of San Jose, CA. and a sister Phyllis Harris of Auburn, CA. and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Cassetty was a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church and retired from Sealed Power Corp, and had worked at Alliance Rubber and Potter & Brumfield.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday, February 26, 2018 and from 6:00 AM until funeral service time Tuesday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
