Robert "Bob" Earl Mann

Mr. Robert “Bob” Earl Mann, age 97 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 4:05 AM at the Medical Center in Franklin, KY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 29, 2016 with burial to follow in the Sulphur Spring Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY. with military honors by the Simpson County Honor Guard.
Mr. Mann was born August 7, 1918 in Logan Co., Ky. to the late Robert Horace Mann and the late Myrtle Hayes Mann. 3 brothers Chester, Douglas and William Mann and a sister Beatrice Moyers preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy Mann, a daughter Joyce Johnson (Roger) of Bowling Green, KY., a granddaughter Laura Johnson Luckey of Murfreesboro, TN., 2 brothers James Mann of Franklin, Ky. and David Mann of Horn Lake, MS. and a sister Catherine Moore of Franklin, KY.
Mr. Mann was a member of the Franklin Church of Christ, American Legion Post #62 and VFW Post #5706. He was a retired farmer, and former car salesman with Grow Oldsmobile and a WWII Army Veteran.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00PM Thursday, July 28 2016 and from 6:00 AM until funeral service time on Friday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
