Robert "Bob" Weatherspoon

Mr. Robert Daris "Bob" Weatherspoon, age 56 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 5:30 A.M. at residence in Franklin, Ky.
A native of Franklin, KY., he was the son of the late Haston Weatherspoon and the late Eunice Rice Weatherspoon. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters Shirley Hansel, Pat Osborne and Jean Thompson and 2 brothers Donald Weatherspoon and Edward Weatherspoon.
He is survived by a brother William "Billy" Weatherspoon(Christine) of Mt. Juliet, TN., 2 Sisters Betty Becksteine of Biloxi, Miss. and Janey Hall of Franklin, KY., 26 nieces and nephews and several great and great great nieces and nephews. He was god father to Dereck and Jennifer Weatherspoon who are a nephew and niece.
Mr. Weatherspoon was a 1973 graduate of the Franklin-Simpson High School and a 1977 graduate of the Western Kentucky University. He retired from teaching at Franklin-Simpson High School after 27 years and was employed at Kentucky Downs as a mutual manager.
