Robert Lee Huston

Mr. Robert Lee Huston, age 57, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Monday, October 4th, 2021 at 3:01 PM at The Medical Center of Bowling Green, KY.

Calling of friends will be on Friday, October 8th, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory and a Celebration of Life Service will be held on the same day, Friday, Oct. 8th at 11:00 AM.  Military honors will be given by the Simpson County Honor Guard.  The service will be live streamed on the funeral home’s Facebook page.

Robert was born June 16, 1964 in Tacoma, WA to Marisvel (Johnson) Thompson of Casa Grande, AZ, whom survives.  He is also survived by his wife of 6 years, Michelle (Aber) Huston; 7 children, Anyssa Aber of Natomas, CA, Anika Huston of Sacramento, CA, Jayden Chervanik of Franklin, KY, Nyla Chervanik of Franklin, KY, Bowen Chervanik of Franklin, KY, Faulken Chervanik of Franklin, KY and Robert Huston, Jr of Franklin, KY; 2 sisters and 4 brothers; and several nieces and nephews.

He is a member of First Baptist Church, Franklin, KY.  Robert was in the United States Air Force.  He was retired from UPS.  Robert loved fishing and boating, bbqing, grilling or smoking, 5th scale/RC racing, golfing and pretty much anything outdoors.
