Robert Elmore Grace

Mr. Robert Elmore Grace, age 83 of Franklin, KY, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 1:59 AM at his residence.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 20, 2019 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

Robert was born September 21, 1935 in Simpson Co., KY, to the late Samuel L. Grace and the late Dovie Jennett Grace.  He was the husband of the late Mildred Barnes Grace.  2 sisters Mary Thaxton and Elizabeth Spears, a brother John E. Grace, a son Charles W. Grace, a grandson William L. Vaughn and a great grandson Joseph Wayne Grace preceded him in death.

He is survived by his children Jerry L. Grace, Gloria A. Wade, Robert E. Grace, Jr., Rita F. McMurtry and Victoria S. Henson all of Franklin, KY and Amanda G. Bacorn of Scottsville, KY, his honorary son Paul D. Estes of Franklin, KY, a honorary daughter Judy Acrey of Franklin, KY, 3 sisters Tommie M. Frye of Allen Co., KY, Judy A. Beatty of Arizona and Nancy Cole of Franklin, KY, 20 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

Robert was a member of the Bethany Church of Christ and was retired factory worker.

Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday, July 19, 2019 and from 6:00 Am until funeral service time on Saturday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
