Richard Leroy Burnworth

Mr. Richard Leroy Burnworth, age 63 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 6:00 A.M. at his residence.
A native of Portland, Oregon., he was the son of the late Art Burnworth and the late Janice Meirs Schoenhaar.
He is survived by his wife Terry L. Burnworth, a son Richard Matlock Burnworth of Franklin, Ky., and a sister Kandis Cage of Coinjack, N.C.
Mr. Burnworth was an engineer, he earned his degree at Old Dominian University, he retired from the federal government, served as a foreign service diplomat in embasssies at Bahrain, Turkey, Burma, Columbia, Russia and Africa. He was a Vietnam Air Force Veteran.
