Peggy Sue Sircy

Mrs. Peggy Sue Sircy, age 81 of Portland, TN, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024 at her residence.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory, Franklin, KY.  Funeral services will be held the same day, Tuesday, February 13th at 1:00 PM with interment to follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens in Simpson County, KY.

Peggy was born on May 12, 1942 in Jackson County, TN to the late Ernest Hudson and the late Ollie (Wright) Hudson. She is also preceded in death by her husband L.B. Sircy; a sister, Helen Louise Morgan; and 3 brothers, Gene Autry Hudson, Alvis Ray Hudson and Ernest Hudson, Jr.

She is survived by her sister, Lovie Poole of Woodburn, KY; a son, Andreas Sircy of Castilian Springs, TN; a grandson, Martin Sircy of Elmwood, TN; sister-in-law, Jo Ann Redfern of Portland, TN; several nieces and nephews; and her dog Sissy.

Peggy was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Franklin, KY.  She was retired from Peterbilt Manufacturing.  Peggy enjoyed watching TV with her dog, Sissy in her lap.
