Peggy Ann Bullington

Mrs. Peggy Ann Bullington, age 71, of Orlinda, TN entered into rest on Saturday, June 13th, 2020 at 5:14 AM at her residence.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 16th, 2020 from 10:00 AM until 1:30 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home in Franklin, KY.  A graveside service will be Tuesday, June 16th, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Sulphur Springs Church Cemetery, 2504 Sulphur Springs Church Road in Simpson County, KY.

Peggy was born on November 1st, 1948 in Simpson County, KY to her late father, Vernon G. Cummings and her late mother, Dorothy Weissinger.  She is also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, George Bullington.

She is survived by 3 children, Scott Bullington (Trinity) of Cross Plains, TN, Paul Bullington of Scottsville, KY and Alice Elkins (Chris) of Smiths Grove, KY; 2 sisters, Barbara Lawson of Centerville, TN and Cathy Sue McLain of Portland, TN; 1 brother, Floyd Cummings of Franklin, KY; 6 grandchildren, Dustin Bullington, Laura Bullington, Bailey Bullington, Colson Elkins, Carlie Elkins, and Camden Elkins; and step-mother, Sarah Jane Cummings.

Peggy was a member of Cross Plains Church of Christ in Cross Plains, TN.  She worked in the Simpson County School System as the Day Care Director.  Peggy was the first Day Care Director in a school system in the state of Kentucky.
