Peg Bullington

Mrs. Peg Bullington, age 73 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Sunday, November 25, 2012 at 10:00 A. M. at her residence.
A native of Westmoreland, TN., she was preceded in death by her parents, Joel Elijah Mayes and Berta Spears Mayes and a sister Elizabeth Mayes Simmons.
She is survived by her husband Young Bullington and son Kerry Bullington both of Franklin, KY.; grandchildren Alan Bullington (Melissa) and Kelly Doan (Shane); great-grandchildren Trevor Doan, Merrick Doan and Ayla James Bullington; a sister Mabel Dodson of Westmoreland, TN. and a brother Doug Mayes of Charlotte, NC.
Peg attended Westmoreland High School, Westmoreland, TN. and later received accreditation from the Chicago School of Interior Decoration. She owned and operated Peg Bullington Interior Decor & Design for 37 years and was an active member of numerous civic clubs and organizations. Prior to her design career, Peg worked in Franklin, KY. at Potter & Brumfield and Kuhn's 5 & 10. She was an avid gardener whose floral arrangements can only be described as works of art. Peg's creativity, wit and love for family and friends were beyond measure. She was a passionate member of Three Springs Baptist Church and adored her church family.
