Pattye Lynn Caudill

Mrs. Pattye Lynn Caudill, age 98 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 5:00 A.M.  at the Auburn Health Care Facility in Auburn, KY.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where funeral service will be held at 10:00 A. M. Saturday, June 20, 2015 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

A native of Simpson Co., KY., she was the daughter of the late Henry Snider and the late Lila Groves Snider.  She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Thomas Caudill and a grandson Scott Kinnaird;  3 sisters Mary McIlhaney, Laverne Newton and Margaret James, 3 brothers; Brundage Snider, Gene Snider and David Snider.

She is survived by her son Lynn Caudill (Rae) of Franklin, KY.;  2 grandchildren Cindy Holman and Ryan Caudill;  3 great grandchildren Erin Spears, Brandon Kinnaird and Trey Holman and 2 great-great grandchildren Elizabeth Spears and Aidan Kinnaird.

Mrs. Caudill was a homemaker and the oldest member of the Franklin Church of Christ.  She was a graduate of the 1935 Class of Franklin High School, a member of the Lake Springs Homemaker Club and the Tuesday Morning Ladies Bible Class.  She served as a 4-H Club leader and teacher for the children’s Sunday School class.  She fought cancer at age 92 and became a breast cancer survivor.

Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Friday June 19, 2015, and from 6:00 A.M. until  funeral service time Saturday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
