Mrs. Patricia Joyce Alvey, age 78 of Franklin, KY. entered into rest Sunday, February 16, 2014 surrounded by her family at the St. Thomas Hospital Midtown in Nashville, TN.
Born February 6, 1936 in Owensboro, KY., she was the daughter of the late Thomas Xavier Brown and the late Edith Vanover Brown and she lived the last 52 years in Franklin, KY.
She is survived by her loving husband Dr. Douglas R. Alvey; 3 daughters: Jill A. Davidson (Scott) of St. Louis, MO., Laura A. Watkins (George M.) and Lea Alvey all of Atlanta, GA.; 4 grandchildren: Danielle and Will Davidson and Mitchell and Parker Watkins. She leaves behind 2 sisters Lorrayne Jones of Madisonville, KY. and Faye Saville, Scotia, NY.
Mrs. Alvey was a homemaker, a Gold Life Master Bridge player and an avid lover of flowers and sports enthusiasts.
