Oscar L. Perdue

Mr. Oscar L. Perdue, age 79, of Franklin, KY., died Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at 12:45 P.M. at the Medical Center of Franklin, Ky.
A native of Simpson Co., Ky. he was the son of the late Robert L. Perdue and the late Gladys Sloan Perdue.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Mrs. Frances Deweese Perdue, a daughter Charlotte Farmer and her husband Ronnie of Paducah, Ky., a son Mark Perdue of Franklin, Ky. 5 Grandchildren Drew and Ross Farmer, Shannon, Christopher and Matthew Perdue, 2 brothers Jay T. Perdue of Melbourne, FL. and Al Perdue of York, PA., a sister Peggy Dickerson of Parrish, FL., a step-sister Judy Boone of Louisville, Ky. and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Perdue was a member of the Franklin First Baptist Church, member of the Franklin Country Club, retired from Tenneco Gas Company in Portland after 45 yrs., and was a Air Force Veteran.
