Norris Aaron Mittelstrasser

Mr. Norris Aaron Mittelstrasser, age 56, of Portland, TN passed away on Monday, October 24th, 2022 at 12:53 PM at the Tristar Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville, TN.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory.  Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at the funeral home, cremation to follow service.

Aaron was born June 29, 1966 in Franklin, KY to the late Norris Aaron Mittelstrasser, Sr and Betty Jean Gosnell. He is also preceded in death by his son, Joshua Aaron Mittelstrasser and his son-in-law, Lucas Jones.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Anita Mittelstrasser; daughter, Emily Jones of Portland, TN; son, Norris Evan Mittelstrasser of Portland, TN; 6 grandchildren, David Martin, Brayden Mittelstrasser, Hailey Martin, Joshua Mittelstrasser, Addison and John Luke Jones; his emotional support dog, Blue; 2 sisters, Sandy Lile (Kevin) of Franklin, KY and Wanda Binion of Franklin, KY; 2 brothers, Johnny Mittelstrasser  and Waynee  Mittelstrasser both of Franklin, KY and lots of nieces and nephews.

Aaron attended First Baptist Church in Portland. He was a member of the Freebird Memorial Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, outdoor cooking and loved being a dad and a Pa.
