Noble C. "Kip" Caudill

August 17, 1940 — March 12, 2025

Franklin

Noble C. Caudill, II affectionately known as Kip, passed away peacefully on the evening of March 12, 2025. He was born in Sumner County, Tennessee on August 17, 1940, where he resided most of his life. In his later years, he moved to Franklin, Kentucky, where he had a residence there, and where his father had been born in 1906. His father, Noble C. Caudill, preceded him in death on April 15, 1985, and his mother, Venorice, preceded him in death on November 22, 1998. Kip had no siblings. Kip’s father was a 35 year executive with Genesco, Inc., very active in Senator Estes Kefauver’s bid for the presidency in 1952, and various capacities including State Treasurer under Governor Frank Clement from 1963 to 1967. Because of his family’s influence, both businesswise and politically, Kip grew up traveling with his family to many of the money centers in America including New York, Boston, Washington, and Chicago and Miami. Kip enjoyed many successes through his years of growing up in the Middle Tennessee Community. While attending Battle Ground Academy in high school, he was considered one of the top high school baseball prospects in Tennessee. In addition to certain accolades in baseball, he won other awards for downhill skiing and auto racing. He was a pilot of high performance aircraft, raced thoroughbreds, and had owned an oil and gas production and drilling equipment company. He was a major shareholder in a family banking business, owner of a commercial real estate brokerage company, a developer and investor in land opportunities, builder of commercial income properties, a multiple farm owner and a political fundraiser and adviser. In 1980, Kip made a commitment to Jesus Christ to build a Christian foundation for the purpose of honoring Christ and His teachings, and to restore America’s Godly heritage. He spent the last 45 years of his life as a spirit – filled Christian, studying the Bible, America’s founding documents, the lives of the founders, the Christian worldview and the history of America. Kip was a loyal patriot to America and to its original Christian foundation. His primary effort in his later years was to bring the guiding principles of the Bible back into the mainstream of this country. In 2006, Kip wrote and published the book Wake Up, America! Restoring America’s Godly Heritage. He dedicated this book “To the born- again Christians of America and worldwide who follow the commands of Christ and who are fighting to restore America’s Godly heritage – I salute you. Kip” Rick Scarborough, President of Vision America, said “some books are informational, some are inspirational and some are motivational – ‘Wake Up, America’ is all three. I encourage everyone who loves America to purchase this book, read it and pass the message to others. Kip is sounding an alarm. We must not hit the snooze button.”
