Nannie Margaret (Gregory) King

Mrs. Nannie Margaret King, age 89, of Franklin, KY, passed away Sunday, January 24th, 2021 at 11:55 PM at the Oak Hill Senior Living in Portland, TN.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory where visitation will be held from11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Saturday, January 30th, 2021.  Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at Gilbert Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY

Margaret was born September 23, 1931 in Bowling Green, KY to the late Harvey “Jack” Gregory and the late Essie Mae Deasy Gregory.  She was the wife of the late Earl Vickers King. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Wayne Gregory and Wendel Gregory.

She is survived by her children Michael  King (Patrick) of Fredericksburg, VA and Pat Greer (Randy) of Portland, TN, 5 grandchildren, Brian Joseph “BJ” King (Sarah), Gregory King (Sarah), Amy Wood (Jason), Eric Greer (Kristin) and Mindy Nichols (Nick), 10 great grandchildren, Anna Cate King, Molly King, Graham King, Pricilla King, Maggie Wood, Alice Wood, Mia Johnson, Connor Greer, Hazel Nichols and Milo Nichols and a brother Norbert Gregory of Ohio.

Margaret was a member of the Franklin First Baptist Church. She was retired from the Kendall Manufacturing Company.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Oak Hill Senior Living or to any Local Lions Club.
