Myra Jane Williams

Ms. Myra Williams, age 62, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Wednesday, October 27th, 2021 at 11:20 AM from complications attributable to Post-COVID Syndrome at The Hopkins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Woodburn, KY.

Visitation will be on Saturday, October 30th, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory.  A Celebration of Life service will be held the same day, at 1:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory with burial to follow in the Mitchellville Cemetery in Mitchellville, TN.

Myra was born February 16, 1959 in Franklin, KY to the late Alton “Pineapple” Williams and the late Jane Coker Williams.

She is survived by 2 brothers, Patrick Williams (Nancy) of Greenbrier, TN, and Al Williams (Beth) of Franklin, KY; 2 nieces, Hannah Thompson and Sarah Williams; nephew, David Williams; and several cousins.

Myra was a life-long member of the Franklin Church of Christ.  She was a 1978 graduate of the Franklin-Simpson High School and she worked many years at Moore’s Drug Store.  Myra was a gentle soul with a kind spirit.  She delighted in going places and visiting with friends.  Although disabled in her latter years, she never tired of keeping up with and sending cards to her friends and family, including her church family.
