Mr. Charles Edward Graves, age 76 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 5:53 A .M. at the Medical Center in Scottsville, KY.
A native of Allen Co., KY., he was the son of the late Roy Estelle Graves and the late Martha Lou Keen Graves.
He is survived by his wife Peggy Ditmore Graves, a son Charles Steven Graves (Sandy) of Franklin, KY.; 2 daughters: Lisa Kaye Lewis (Donny) of Lafayette, TN. and Pamela Gayle Simmons (Alan) of Auburn, KY.; a brother Baskel Graves and a sister Pearl Graves both of Scottsville, KY.; 7 grandchildren: Susan Glenn (Scott), Lucas Alan Simmons, Chris Lewis (Summer), Kayla Lewis, Dane Simmons, Melissa Graves and Jenna Simmons; 2 great grandchildren Jaydyn Lewis and Kolby Glenn.
Mr. Graves was a member of the New Middlefork Missionary Baptist Church, a farmer and was self-employed in the drywall business.
