Michael Lee Duling

Mr. Michael Lee Duling, age 47, of Adolphus, KY, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024 in Franklin, KY.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory.  A Memorial Service will be held the same day, Monday, February 26th at 2:00 PM.  Military honors will be given at the funeral home.

Michael was born on July 4, 1976 in Bell, CA.  He was preceded in death by his father, Michael McCoy and a step-father, William Benson “Ben” Duling.

He is survived by his spouse of 26 years, Alishia Duling, 9 children, Christian (Itzel), Isabella, Trey, Arwen, Evangeline, Sawyer, Mia, Emma Duling and Brianna Kern (Andrew); a beautiful granddaughter, Dulce; Mother, Kathy Kobida (Chuck); a sister, Michelle McCoy; a brother, Paul Duling (Kari)..

Michael was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  He was still actively serving in the United States Army Reserves. He was a superintendent in the I.T.  Sector for Direct Line and you could say a jack of all trades. Michael was the man you could count on. Many say he was always ready to help you out. He had a big heart and a love for people. He would always say Alishia could out talk him, but secretly they both knew he out did her. Wink. Wink.  Alishia would always joke he knew everything about nothing- Michael was a walking plethora of information. If you were talking about elephants, he’d share his “ Did you know” and tell you how much an elephant weighs and then some. Michael was a genius at a computers, Alishia was always blown away over his knowledge; he could talk you through any programs, apps, repairs by simply pulling from his mind, sight unseen. He will be deeply missed, but always carried in the hearts of those who cherished him so.
