Michael Dale Birdwhistell

Mr. Michael Dale Birdwhistell, age 78 of Franklin, KY passed away on March 20, 2025 at his nephew’s residence in Bowling Green, KY.

Michael’s wishes were to be cremated with no services.

Michael was born February 25, 1947 in Franklin, KY to the late Lewis Birdwhistell and the late Elizabeth Peffer Birdwhistell. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Bob Birdwhistell and sister-in-law, Donna Birdwhistell.

Michael is survived by a nephew, Joe Birdwhistell (Christy) of Bowling Green, KY; two nieces, Jane Wells (Billy) of Venice, Fl and Susan Ezell (Mike) of Auburn, KY; three great nephews, Kevin Birdwhistell of Chicago, IL, Taylor Wells of Venice, FL and Caiden Mefford of Bowling Green, KY; a great niece, Erin Birdwhistell of Richmond, VA.

Mr. Birdwhistell was a graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School, earned a Master’s degree in education at Western Kentucky University. He was a retired teacher of Franklin-Simpson High School. He was a U.K. Basketball fan and enjoyed reading and sports.
