Melissa Darlene Hesson

Mrs. Melissa Hesson, age 63, of Cottontown, TN passed away Wednesday, April 19th, 2023 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 23rd, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral services will be held the same day at 2:00 PM with interment to follow at Old Brush Cemetery in Sumner County, TN.

Melissa was born on June 7th, 1959 in Indianapolis, IN to the late  Lindsey “Tobe” McDonald and the late  Lorraine (Graves) McDonald. She is also preceded in death by her first husband, Billy and husband Donald Hesson and son-in-law, Eric Hulsey.

She is survived by 2 children, Heather Oden (Nick) of White House, TN and Josh Hesson (Courtney) of Orlinda, TN; 6 grandchildren, Lane, Colby, Cannan, Remi Mae, Preston and Elijah.

Melissa enjoyed shopping.
