Melinda Ann (Thew) Cooper

Mrs. Melinda Ann Thew-Cooper, age 68, of Franklin, KY, passed away, Saturday, February 27th, 2021 at 9:29 AM at her residence.

Arrangements are entrusted to Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory.  There will be a private graveside service.  Melinda loved flowers and the family is requesting for flowers to be sent to the funeral home for her graveside service.

Melinda was born on May 17th, 1952 in Pougkeepsie, NY, Dutchess County to the late Richard Thew and the late Patricia Light Thew.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years Dennis Cooper and a brother, Kevin Thew of North Carolina.

Melinda earned a business degree and was self-employed as a farmer.  She was a member of the National Cutting Horse Association.  Melinda also tended to quarter horses, cows and chickens and she loved all animals.
