Mayme Ruth Halcomb

Mrs. Mayme Ruth Halcomb, age 78 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 7:10 A. M. at the Hospice Center in Bowling Green, KY.
A native of Simpson Co., KY., she was the daughter of the late Thurman M. Hall and the late Norine White Hall.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years Nevil Halcomb, Jr. of Franklin, KY., 2 sons; Mark Halcomb (Linda) and Craig Halcomb all of Franklin, KY.; 2 daughters; Lisa Bashant and Heidi Dobbs (Mark) all of Franklin, KY.; grandson Jack Dobbs and a sister Sara Frances "Sissy" Johnson of Franklin, KY.; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Halcomb was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church. She was a member of the Ruth Sunday School Class, a member of the Oak Grove Homemakers Club and a regular donor of the American Red Cross blood bank. She liked one pint being a twenty-five gallon donor. She loved raising her children, shopping and sharing her love of cooking with others.
