Mattie Lou Grow Riggins

Mrs. Mattie Lou Grow Riggins, age 92 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Monday, October 27, 2014 at 3:50 A. M. at the Oak Hill Nursing Facility in Portland, TN.
A native of Logan Co. Ky. she was the daughter of the late Audley K. Grow and the late Edna Earle Talley Grow. She was the wife of the late Jesse(Jack) Paisley Riggins. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers Joseph "Bud" Grow and James "Jim" Grow and a sister Maxine Taylor.
She is survived by a daughter Elaine Gray of Franklin, Ky. and a son Mark Riggins (Lynn) of Cumming, Georgia, 4 grandchildren Anne Rhoades (James), Chris Gray, Brian Riggins (Amy) and Robin Riggins Brosnan (Joey) and 8 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Riggins was a member of the Franklin First Baptist Church where she had taught Sunday school for over 30 years, and retired bookkeeper for 25 years for Grow Olds-GMC, INC. and member of the Simpson County Historical Society.
