Mrs. Mattie Mae Rhea age 83, of Franklin, Ky. died at 5:30 A.M. Monday, October 19, 2009 at the Medical Center in Franklin, Ky.
A native of Simpson Co., Ky. she was the daughter of the late Albert Chris Fehrle and the late Mattie Konow Ferhle. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters Maggie Newell and Dorothy Shepard.
She is survived by her husband Alvis Rhea, a son Chris Rhea and his wife Maggie of Franklin, Ky. and Betsy Lou Kullman and her husband John of Bowling Green, Ky., a sister Elizabeth Elliott of Franklin and a brother Albert Fehrle of Franklin, Ky., 6 Grandchildren Trey Kullman and his wife Annie, Kristin Bateman and her husband Dustin, Chris Rhea, Jr. and his wife Mandy, Will Rhea, Shannon Brindley and her husband John, and Stephanie Lady and her husband Robert and 6 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Rhea was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was a retired hairdresser at Mattie Mae Rhea’s Beauty Shop.
