Mrs. Mary Frances Uhls, age 84 of Franklin, KY., went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 8:49 P. M. at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Ky after a brief illness.
A native of Macon Co., TN. she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Houskins and the late Versie Wix Houskins. She was preceded in death by her husband Hugh "Hop" Uhls.
She is survived by 6 daughters; Barbara Murray (Jerry), Ann Uhls, Connie Spivey (Billy), Mary Halencak (David) all of Franklin, KY., Carol Uhls of Clearwater, FL., and Rita Bradford(Dennis) of Chuckey, TN.; 5 sons; Hugh Uhls (Barbara) of Columbus, GA., Richard Uhls (Susan) of Cottontown, TN., Jimmy Uhls of Montecellio, KY., Terry Uhls of St. Petersburg, FL. and Randy Uhls of Franklin, KY.; a brother Charlie Houskins and a sister Jo Nell Uhls both of Franklin, KY.; 25 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Mrs. Uhls was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Portland, TN. and a former employee of Potter & Brumfield.
