Mary Rose Meador

Mrs. Mary Rose Meador age 93, of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 8:36 P. M. at the Auburn Nursing Center in Auburn, KY.

A native of Simpson Co., KY. she was the daughter of the late George Thomas Foster and the late Mallie Denning Foster.  She was the wife of the late Walter Kelley Meador. She was preceded in death by a brother Herbert Lee Foster

She is survived by a daughter Virginia Ellen Hanks and her husband Harold of Auburn, KY., a son  Tom Kelley Meador and his wife Ann Caponite of Charlotte, N.C., 8 Grandchildren Charles Kelley Hanks and his wife Jana of Auburn, KY., Eddie Tate Hanks and his wife Joy Beth of Bowling Green, KY., Alecia Ellen Stamps and her husband Eric of Franklin, KY., David Kelley Meador and his wife Natalie of Cary, N.C., Andrew Justin Meador and his wife Shawnice of Raleigh, N.C. Shannon Meador Kempter and her husband John of Mint Hill, N.C., Kristen Meador Gerstner and her husband Mike of Peoria, IL. and Kathryn Marie Meador of Charlotte, N.C. and 14 Great Grandchildren.

Mrs. Meador was a member of the First Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Philatha Sunday School Class, she was also a member of the Franklin Garden Club, Simpson County Homemakers, Historical Society and Hospital Friends.  Mrs. Meador was a licensed insurance broker with Saunders & Dunn Insurance  and Mullins Insurance, and a homemaker.
