Mrs. Mary Lou Green, age 88 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Tuessday, October 14, 2014 at 8:00 P. M. at her residence.
A native of Warren Co., KY., She was the daughter of the late Felix Ezra Wakefield and the late Ina Stella Lewis Wakefield. She was the wife of the late William Shady Green was preceded in death by a son Robert Grover Green, a brother Lloyd Nathan Wakefield and a sister Lila Gray Morehead.
She is survived by a daughter Mary Ann Gomer(Larry) of Franklin, KY., 2 grandchildren Laurie Gomer and Leslie McCarly (Billy), 2 great grandchildren William Steven McCarley III and John Robert McCarley, a sister-in-law Gerry Wakefield and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Green was a member of the Franklin Church of Christ and former member of the Woodburn Church of Christ and Lehman Avenue Church of Christ in Bowling Green, KY., Kentucky Colonel, Past Worthy Matron (several times) of Ruth Electra Eastern Star - Life Member, Past Royal Matron of Pearl Fleming Memorial Court, Past Grand Royal Matron of the Grand Court of Kentucky (Amaranth), Grand Court of Kentucky Representative to Australia, Past Worthy High Priestess of White Shrine of Jerusalem, Glasgow Shrine, Past 3rd District PTA president.
The family appreciates her special caretaker, Grace Jackson, and her family who made her "Family"
